Elmira ASC, LLC is a private, independently owned ambulatory surgery center providing cataract surgery and laser eye surgery to patients of Dr. Rosenberg.  The facility has performed over 25,000 cataract surgeries since opening its doors in 1999. In 2005, the facility's cost-efficient and patient-friendly approach to cataract surgery earned it the prestigious National Innovations in Quality Award from AAAHC's Institute for Quality Improvement.

Our facility was specially designed for cataract and laser eye surgery. It is fully licensed by New York State's Department of Health, accredited by AAAHC, and approved to provide surgery to Medicare patients. Many of our patients appreciate the personal attention and friendly setting that differentiates us from hospital-based care.

Elmira ASC, LLC is located at 210 William Street in Elmira.  You can reach us Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.  We are licensed by New York State's Department of Health and fully accredited by AAAHC, and has been, continuously, for over 20 years.  It was founded in an effort to have a facility where eye surgery was the sole focus.  Its primary owners include Richard Rosenberg, MD, Douglas Willard MD, Lloyd Suter MD, and Robert Morello, MD, PhD. 

Elmira ASC, LLC operates surgical suites, performing many of the same functions as a hospital operating room. Typically, the fees for services at Elmira ASC, LLC are lower than a hospital's fees would be for the same surgery.  Its fees pay for things like operating room space, nurses, scrub technicians, cleaning staff, lens implants and other supplies.
